Posts: 634 03/11/10 3:38 AM	Tags : None Every time the Rangers lose I come on this site and see 15 new topics of people complaining. Yea I'm aware that everyone has their opinion. I for one voice mine often, much like I'm doing now. But you guys are seriously beating a dead horse at this point. I mean, your mutilating a dead horse right now. Are you actually surprised anymore? The season is almost over we've seen 60 somewhat games or w/e and we KNOW what the outcome will be. Or at least the non delusional of us do! Yes GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR it sucks, but we all know this!!! Fire this guy, and that guy and that guy grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. OK we get it. Why are some of you still to the point where you need to flip out about a game?? It's weird if you ask me, it's like sticking your d!ck in a blender everyday and complaining about the results everyday! Geesh, watch the games cause you love hockey and you love the Rangers and accept their fate. I already have weeks and weeks ago!! Yours Truly, Next Season

Posts: 2193 03/11/10 3:53 AM	It is very simple actually. Thing have gotten so bad down the stretch now passionate fans have boiled over. You have your opinion in that you believe complaining about it is not acceptable and it's like beating a dead horse. Others including myself are very frustrated about the team. I usually don't get too negative but after tonights game I was very negative. People relieve their frustration by posting messages on the board. Like I said you have your perspective but mine lately has been very pessimistic and I don't think there is anything wrong with writing about it on these boards. BTW complaining and professional sports team's message boards go hand in hand, like America and apple pie. Complaining when their team loses is very much the standard on any board.

I'm just pointing out the post when people act surprised, I mean how many games are we going to see the same post over and over again? Until the 70th 80th game? We should all know what to expect. Saying "wow the Rangers sucked last night" or " this team blows" is venting. But sitting there acting offended when the team continues to lose is kind of pointless to me. Who expects differently at THIS POINT in the season? Let's not fool ourselves. Every time the Rangers lose now I just say " Lame" lol Passion is one thing, being surprise by the Rangers play this far into a disappointing season is another. But I feel what your saying. Boiling over was the Islander games months ago for me, that's when I officially snapped and spewed my venom lol, so I guess it just takes some people longer, I would hope everybody realizes this teams fate before the last game though lol

A million threads about this team "being a joke" and then after a loss " OMG THIS TEAM SUCKS" Well you just said the team is a joke sooooooooo were you expecting a win??

That has nothing to do with messages about this team sucks, what is wrong with the Rangers?, etc. Sounds like a big stretch from your side now that you say you are not surprised that people are complaining about us losing, it is that we are surprised that we are losing. Well what else can you talk about that is not duplicative? Line changes, coach changes, GM changes, Redden sucks, Drury sucks (unless he is in the Olympics), Henriks glove hand, this board is not user friendly, if only, but only. It is just the inherent nature of a message board.

I'm not starting this post to stir up Sh!t the post is how as soon as the game is over 15 people have to post topics about this team, one will suffice. And my people being surprised statement is along the lines of people reacting the way they do when the Rangers lose, like it's a big surprise. I don't know why people don't take this post for face value. I said I understand people get frustrated, I understand Grrrrrrrrrr your angry ok. How many times do we have to hear I'm done with this team and blah blah blah. Why cause all of the sudden they suck? They've sucked for quite a while. So what's the surprise that you only state this now at the end of the season. Again people need to lighten up a lil and not take this like it's a thesis for Harvard. And this is certainly not directed towards anyone in general on this board. I just find it HIGHLY AMUSING that after every loss people have to start topic after topic. But I'm pretty sure we can drop this topic now too, because looks like the dead horse is once again being beaten! LGR!

Fans are getting fed up-they want some progress because they care about their team the Rangers. The players haven't been playing consistantly well and Also Torts isn't winning more than .500 and with his style-which is also a mystery to hockey fans to really understand-changing all the lines all the time-What the heck is dat?

Posts: 2541 03/12/10 1:01 PM	I dunno if ppl are really surprised when the rangers lose, I actually think that there was a pretty big group of ppl who stated after the first two months of the season that they weren't going to go very far if they didn't fix what was wrong, and more and more ppl are despairing because they couldn't turn things around. Personally I'm not surprised with their recent losing streak, although I am disappointed with how badly they lost to nj.

While it's nice that you assume everyone is expecting the team to win, I don't think it's an expectation at all but rather hope the team can show some life as if they want to win from game to game. I don't think anyone here is under the impression this team is gonna win it all. Rooting for your favorite team to win and then expressing yourself after they lose is part of what these boards are for. We're happy and positive when the team is winning, and pissed off when the team is losing. Don't think anyone is "surprised" they lost, but rather fed up and disappointed they need to let it out somehow. Every loss is just another let down on just how bad this team can be.
